This is an original, linen-backed, Style A teaser one-sheet movie poster from 1966 for the initial U.S. theatrical release of A Fistful of Dollars (Per un Pugno di Dollari) starring Clint Eastwood, Gian Maria Volonte, Marianne Koch, John Wels and Joe Edger. Sergio Leone (credited as Bob Robertson) directed the classic western.
The poster measures 27" x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good condition prior to restoration with tape stains on the corners from theatrical display (some with small amounts of paper loss from rough removal). It was folded after printing and had some creasing and wear along parts of the folds. The folds are much less noticeable after backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
