Mad Max (1979)

This is an original Italian 2 Fogli theatrical movie poster from 1980 for Mad Max (released in Italy as Interceptor) starring Mel Gibson, Joanne Samuel, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Steve Bisley, Tim Burns, and Roger Ward. George Miller directed the action thriller. John Hamagami is the artist for the poster.

The poster measures 39" x 55" and is in good to very good condition.  Someone previously wrote the name of the Italian municipality Formignana on the back of the poster in ink that has bled through to the front. The poster is otherwise in excellent, unused condition with minimal wear from previous handling.  The new owner could display the poster as is with the patina of former use visible or have the ink removed during restoration.  The poster was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
