This is an original, Japanese two-panel theatrical movie poster from 1971 for Shin Zatoichi: Yabure Tojin-ken (Zatoichi Meets the One-Armed Swordsman) starring Shintaro Katsu, Yu Wang, Watako Hamaki, Michie Terada, and Koji Nanbara. Kimiyoshi Yasuda directed the classic, Samurai action thriller.
The Tatekan-style poster measures 20” x 57” and is in very good condition. The poster was printed in two sections designed to overlap. Someone at the movie theater which displayed the poster carefully glued the two sections together making one, connected poster. It has minimal creasing and edge wear. The poster was tri-folded after printing (it has no vertical fold down the middle) and there's some minor creasing along the fold lines. The poster has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners and edges of the poster are magnets and not pins.
