This is an original, insert movie poster from 1953 for Roman Holiday starring Gregory Peck, Audrey Hepburn, Eddie Albert and Hartley Power. William Wyler directed the classic film.
The poster measures 14" x 36" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in good to very good condition prior to restoration with some minor wear and creases along the edges. There were a few, small tears along the left edge and the poster had an extra horizontal fold near the top. The fold lines are greatly reduced after backing. The poster has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). They are not a stock image. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This very rare and collectible poster, printed in 1953 to promote the initial, theatrical release of Roman Holiday, is not a reproduction or reprint.
