This is an original French eight panel movie poster from 1972 for The Godfather starring Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton, Talia Shire and John Cazale. Francis Ford Coppola directed the Academy Award-winning film based on the book by Mario Puzo. S. Neil Fujita is the artist for the poster.
The billboard-style poster measures 118” x 168” (approximately 10 feet by 14 feet) and was printed in eight sections designed to overlap. The poster was never used and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal wear from handling. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
