This is an original, rolled, thirty by forty theatrical movie poster from 1978 for Grease starring John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, Stockard Channing, Frankie Avalon and Sid Caesar. Randal Kleiser directed the comedy based on the Broadway musical. Linda Fennimore is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 30" x 40" and is in very good condition with with two small, light creases on the left left edge that slightly extend into the main image. The poster has never been folded. Thirty by forty posters were printed on slightly thicker paper stock compared to one-sheet posters.
Please look closely at the photos as this is the exact poster you are buying. It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This very rare and collectible poster, printed in 1978 to promote the initial theatrical release of Grease, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
