This is an original, French double grande, two-panel theatrical movie poster from 1962 for The Longest Day starring John Wayne, Richard Burton, Red Buttons, Sean Connery, Fabian, Mel Ferrer, Henry Fonda, Roddy McDowall, Robert Mitchum, George Segal and Rod Steiger. Ken Annakin and Andrew Marton directed the classic World War II film. Vanni Tealdi is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 63" x 91" and was printed in two sections designed to overlap. It s in very good condition with minimal wear along the top edge of the poster and a few, tiny cross-fold separations from handling and storage. The poster was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). The small, black squares in the corners and edges of the poster are magnets and not pins.
