This is an original, international one-sheet movie poster from 1978 for The Lord of the Rings featuring the voices of Christopher Guard, William Squire, Michael Scholes, John Hurt, Simon Chandler, Dominic Guard, and Norman Bird. Ralph Bakshi directed the animated adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkein's classic fantasy novels. Tom Jung is the artist for the poster.
The poster was printed in the United States for use in theaters outside the country. It features different artwork from the domestic one-sheet. The poster measures 27” x 41” and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal edge and fold wear from previous handling. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
