This is a very rare, vintage French "affiche" movie poster from 1976 for Pirates et guerriers (released in Hong Kong as Zhong lie tu and in the United States as The Valiant Ones). The the Hong Kong wuxia film stars Feng Hsu, Ying Bat, Roy Chiao, Chia-Hsiang Wu, Sammo Kam-Bo Hung and Wei Tao. King Hu wrote and directed the martial arts movie. Charles Rau is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 23" x 32" and is in very good condition. Like nearly all French affiche movie posters from this period, this poster was folded when printed in 1976. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters. The poster has been stored flat for many years and will be shipped in a tube mailer. It has some minor creasing near the center cross-fold and it previously had a small sticker in the bottom left corner of the poster that was removed at some point.
